Sales agent

Selling stand space for Megawatt Kenya 2027

What the arrangement is

A sales agent sells stand space for Megawatt Kenya in a defined market and is paid for the space that comes in as a result. It is a commercial appointment rather than a distributorship of the brand: the contract for the stand is with MIE Events, the money is collected by the organiser, and the agent is paid commission on what they introduced.

Because of that, the parts that matter are the ones written down — which market the appointment covers, which products in the floorplan the agent is selling, how a deal is registered so it counts as theirs, and what happens when two agents talk to the same company. The team answers each of those in writing before any selling starts, not after.

There is no published commission rate on this page and no claim that any particular territory is open. Both are settled per appointment while the 2027 commercial terms are finalised.

How the appointment works

A defined territory

One market per appointment, named in the agreement, so an agent is not bidding against the organiser's own team in the same country.

Deal registration

A company you are working on is registered with the team and protected for an agreed period, which is what makes the commission calculable rather than argued.

Selling material supplied

The floorplan as it stands, the rates that apply, the show's own sales material and the visitor information an exhibitor asks for before signing.

Commission in writing

The rate, the basis it is calculated on and the point at which it is paid are set out before you start, and paid once the exhibitor's payment clears.

Discuss an appointment

Tell the team which market you cover, who you already sell to, and which exhibitors you would approach first.
