6-8 July 2027 · The Palms Convention Center, Accra
West Africa’s power and energy exhibition in Accra: solar and wind generation, power equipment, and the measurement and monitoring systems that manage supply — three days at The Palms Convention Center, 6-8 July 2027.
Megawatt Ghana is where the country’s power and energy supply chain meets. Four product groups carry the halls: solar energy, wind power generation, power equipment, and energy measurement — the panels, turbines, transformers, switchgear and metering that a project needs before it can be built, and the monitoring that keeps it running afterwards.
It runs for three days, 6 to 8 July 2027, at The Palms Convention Center in Accra — the venue that also carries Ghana’s trade-week exhibitions, so a buyer travels once and can walk more than one show.
Megawatt Africa is organised by MIE Events, part of MIE Groups, the exhibition organiser headquartered in Dubai.
The product groups Megawatt Ghana names on its own site.
For exhibitors
Ghana’s power market has two buying routes — the utilities and independent power producers building and maintaining capacity, and the industrial sites generating and managing their own supply. Megawatt is where both routes meet, and they do not buy the same equipment.
For visitors
Compare generation, equipment and metering suppliers in a single visit, and talk to the EPC contractors and distributors who install and finance projects in Ghana rather than to agents alone.

EXHIBITING ENQUIRYCompare suppliers across solar, wind, power equipment and metering in one visit.
VISITOR REGISTRATIONGhana combines grid demand growth with heavy industrial self-generation. Those are two different buying conversations — one about capacity and reliability, the other about keeping a plant running — and both of them happen in the same hall.
Solar and wind on one side; switchgear, transformers, storage and metering on the other. Because both sit in the same building, a project team can specify a scheme without a month of separate supplier visits.
The EPC contractors and distributors who actually deliver projects in Ghana attend alongside the manufacturers, which is where the questions about installation, spares and after-sales service get answered.
The Palms hosts the related trade-week exhibitions in the same week, so one trip to Accra covers Megawatt and the shows next door, and your team books one set of flights.
