B2B matchmaking
Arranged meetings, not a hall to wander
What the programme is for
Most of the value of three days in Nairobi is in the conversations, and the conversations that matter are hard to find by walking. The matchmaking desk exists to fix that: you state what you buy, what you sell, or what kind of partner you are looking for, and the team turns that into a short schedule of meetings before you travel.
It works from the registration rather than from a separate form. Register as a visitor or as an exhibitor, then write to the team with your list — the products, the project type, the countries you work in — and the matching starts there.
The desk for the 2027 edition is being arranged now, and the meeting slots are set against the conference timetable, which is itself still being finalised. Ask early: the later a request arrives, the fewer positions are free to match it against.
How a match is made
You send the requirement
A line about your business and the three or four things you want out of the trip is enough for the team to work from.
Matched on product and role
Requests are matched on what is actually being bought or distributed, not on job title alone, so a distributor is not seated with other distributors.
Booked before you fly
Where a match is found, the meeting is placed in the diary with a time and a place, so the first morning of the show already has a shape.
A room off the floor
Matched meetings are held in a meeting area away from the noise of the stands, which is what makes a technical conversation possible.
Matchmaking questions
How do I join?
Register on this site first, then write to the team with what you are looking for. There is nothing else to sign up to.
Which side of the table am I on?
Whichever fits. Exhibitors describe what they supply and who they want to meet; visitors describe what they are buying. Buyers looking for local representation are matched with suppliers, and suppliers are matched with the contractors who install their equipment.
Can I arrange meetings on the day?
Yes, if there are slots left, but the diary is built from the requests that arrived before the show. Requests made on site are matched against whatever remains free.
