Ghana Investment & Trade Week (GITW) 2026 Officially Opens in Accra

Accra, Ghana – 7 July 2026 – The 7th Ghana Investment & Trade Week (GITW), co-located with the 4th Africa Build Show (ABS) and the 3rd Megawatt Africa, officially opened today at The Palms Convention Center in Accra with a prestigious Opening Ceremony led by His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse and Conference Chairperson.

Held under the theme “Powering Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy: Integrating Infrastructure, Electric Mobility, and Sustainable Real Estate for Investment and Trade Competitiveness,” the event provides a strategic platform for strengthening international partnerships, showcasing innovation, and unlocking investment opportunities that support Ghana’s long-term economic transformation.

A defining highlight of the Opening Ceremony was the leadership of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, whose role as Conference Chairperson underscored the growing collaboration between traditional leadership, government, and the private sector in driving national development. As Paramount King of the Ga State, His Royal Majesty has consistently championed investment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth. In his opening remarks, he welcomed delegates from more than 20 countries and encouraged stronger international collaboration to position Ghana as the leading gateway for investment and trade in West Africa.
